We believe in one God as a creator of all things who exists equally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is infinitely perfect.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is co-equal with the Father. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a perfect sinless life, even while living in a world with temptation. He was sacrificed for the just and unjust, then crucified, died and was buried. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he shall come to judge the living and the dead. He will come again to establish his kingdom of righteousness and peace.
We believe the Holy Spirit was present from the beginning of creation. He lives in every believer and was sent to guide, teach, gift, empower, and bear His fruit.
We believe the Bible is inspired by God. It is the final authority on God’s word. It is truth without any mixture of error.
We believe that God created human beings in God’s image, as the supreme object of His creation. Although created with an immense potential for good, man is born with an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. Man is given free will to choose to accept or reject a relationship with God.
We believe that man cannot earn salvation through good works. The one and only way to salvation is through God’s free gift of Jesus Christ. As sinners we must repent and believe in him, to be granted the gift of eternal life and be called children of God. We can choose to live eternally in heaven with God through forgiveness and salvation in Christ, or to exist eternally in hell, separated from God by sin.
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, an extension of Christ's life and ministry in the world today. We believe that the mission of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We believe that the church is "the communion of saints," a community made up of all past, present, and future disciples of Christ. We believe that Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are the two ordained Sacraments by Christ. We believe that the church is called to worship God and to support those who participate in its life as they grow in faith.
